Just purchased some Mise en scene products

In order to get our filming complete we had to buy theses Mise en scene products to make our opening appeal to the genre and look realistic. We felt theses products were most appropriate as they link to our narrative and show a good link to super natural horror. Theses products has put us a few days behind schedule due to the fact we needed to what for the weekend to collect them, however we felt it was an important process to make in order to push the opening to a high quality.


Make-up- Teeth Wax:

We wanted to find a product that will make the Protagonist quickly turn to a supernatural creature, creating affect and huge impact. The wax comes out to create black looking teeth which creates mystery towards the audience and links to a supernatural being. All the other teeth products looked fake and we wanted the character to look very realistic and make the audience scared so we felt this was the best product to use.

Black-out Contact Lenses-

Although theses lenses were a lot out of our budge we felt it was a well purchased product because we know they are reliable as other films have used the same mise en scent such as; paranormal activity. Theses link to the genre of Super natural horror and create a mystery towards the audience. I love the idea of the black eyes with the characters pale face as it creates a great colour contrast. The product also shows a link to darkness and death, connecting with horror. Perhaps showing danger and a ghostly like presents haunting over the protagonist.
