Summary/actions From Rough cut Feedback

In my previous post we interviewed people that matched our audience target to gain feedback from them after they watched our rough cut. We decided to improve our opening by listening to their feedback as they are our chosen target audience for our opening so we knew if we matched our improvements to their comments it would be a successful opening scene.

Their feedback from the audience was to finish the opening film as there was no ending so the audience couldn't connect with the narrative. Another element was to add sound as it will create more tension and have a bigger impact on the audience.

Actions-
From the feedback we wanted to ensure we picked and edited sound to create an impact which connects with our narrative. We will do this by looking through copyright free sites to find the aporticate soundtrack for our opening. Another action we will take is to create more shots or add more shots we haven't used yet to connect the audience with the narrative and to make the film longer to match the conventions of an opening film not a trailer. We will also think carefully about the filters we use to push our work to a high standard, making it realistic and effective to the audience.
